Yoga on Friday.

Overall it's a great experience. The yoga room is 40 degree c.

Previously i mentioned that i chilled out at Canopy @ Bishan park.
It's a very nice place and the place is very cooling.
Caught a movie afterthat, LOVE IN DISGUISE. Boring plus damn dramatic.
And so, i recieved my first birthday present, an early one. HEHE.

I ordered a Dermalogica Dermal clay cleanser 500mls online.

It was much more cheaper that the retail price in those beauty shops. at least a 30% off :))

And i'm very elated that it arrived today!

Anyway the seller was nice to give me a few samples, and one of them is the Daily microfoliant which i always wanted to try. Was choosing between the purchase of the Daily Microfoliant or the Dermal Clay Cleanser. In the end i think Dermal Clay Cleanser would be more suitable.

Seriously when I come to think about this issue, I'm very angry and disappointed. Don't know whether am I the one being stupid. When she needed money, I lend her. When she needed someone by her side because she is gonna break up with her boyfriend, and despite that I have class early in the morning the next day, I'm still there with her, drinking with her. When she needed to use my name for certain reason, I'm ok with it. Because I thought it will be double standard, that when I needed her, she will be there regardless of anything. But now it seems that I'm wrong, she have her new friend, she have a new guy by her side, but she have forgotten someone who needed her. Her new guy is much more important now. Til that she will stick to him even though I'm in trouble, when I needed her by my side. You call this friend? I don't know. Fuck

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support. in another term, CPR

went for the training, it's fun, it's interesting, but tiring. it helps to train your stamina. compressions done well, but not for ventilation. need to buck up and do the blowing well.

theory + practical is a must pass to get the cert. i'm stressed up and scared. many more things coming along, exams, attachment, presentation. it's giving me hell.

oh, and MACdonalds came out with SPICY nuggets! damn shiok i say.

the fries. together with it makes a perfect meal. i'm tempted to order thru delivery now.

just came back from my facial treatment + haircut. woohoo 5 inches of hair gone :)

the facial treatment was also like a love-hate session for me. extracting + the AHA 40% ampoule was powerful! super pain. but the aftermath massage was what i call the LOVE.

Signed up the package, 10 treatment + 2 free treatment + 3 free diamond peel. guess the price people.

see all my french braid girls! and see my long long hair! it's 5 inches shorter now OMG.

studying for exam ? no, played around instead.

went to do facial yesterday. i spent a bomb buying the products. i can see that it's working on me although it's only day 2. and i just bought a clarifying cleanser from Dermedex, $48 WTF. it's just a make-up remover. alright i need to study for tomorrow's exam. shall take picture of my skincare product soon if i have the time. And i can't use my Hada Labo hydrating lotion anymore. but i cant bear to throw it aside cuz i still left like 7/8 of the bottle? or even more. anyone who wants it? it has very good moisturising effect :) tell me ok. it's free.

out with favourite cousins on tuesday.

kind of feel abit lost and weird during the start, probably becasue of communication and maybe i was too pampered by him in the pass. unwilling to walk abit more longer distance and being picky on food. things i looked at were kind of different too. but after half a day, i finally manage to adapt to their style.

going out with them, i feel loved. afterall, blood is thicker than water. we're all blood related isn't it? :)

met them in town and we headed to Pizzahut for lunch, and watched A-TEAM. freaking nice movie! A MUST WATCH!

Blogging through my iPhone now. On my way to hougang mall to meet Christ and yi qian. Late nights these few days, have been a night owl. Reach home at 3 plus AM for consecutive few days and I can say I enjoy myself to the max. From midnight K session to drinking at jia wei's pool side. Have lots of fun. Next week would also be a busy week, group discussion in school, probably meeting up with my favourite cousins, going for a hepatitis B immune jab again and most importantly study for my god damn exam. Still prefer attachment than exams. Just came back from school though it's term break, for ICA discussion. woke up quite early in the morning cos' Shermaine (probably some maybelline management people) dropped me a message in FB saying that there's a L'Oreal warehouse sale going on, asking me to go get my mascara because my XXL intense is already discontinued :( so sad, i love that mascara.

they don't publicize this kind of sale to public normally but i'm glad she asked me over :) hehe. so i cabbed down immediately to check out the cosmetics and i can say i'm in love with my loots! super cheap too!

Mascaras, the yellow one going for $19.90 at retail store but i got it for $10 each, and my XXL intense, at $15 each.

L'Oreal products, 4 for $20 ?!?!?! OMFG cheap!

and i recieved free hair mask :) AWWWW! i love it TTM!

spent only $70 bucks in total for all my loots.

finally i found this special cotton bud with sharp ends, specially for cosmetic use.

and i bought this hand cream as well! because nurses always do hand hygiene, then our hands sure very dry. wanted to get the Elizabeth Arden's hand cream with honey pollen, but i figure out that it's too big to carry anywhere. if only it comes in a smaller tube :(

smells very nice! want to eat my hand afterthat!

ok tomorrow is public holiday, and i just ended my morning shift at 3pm :) cool, it's my resting day today.

luckily my school bookshop sell menstrual cramp pillsand i bought like 7?! yeah abit kiasu la.

was late to catch the GODZILLA movie at channel 5. only manage to watch the last part where GODZILLA died :(

and by the way, i love dinosaurs :) they make me happy. my 5th birthday cake was a 1kg T-REX cake if im not wrong, momo ask the cake shop people to deliver it to my kindergarden for my birthday. so sweet. and i got a boy to kiss me on my cheek as a present, LOL. that boy is handsome ok. probably a mixed-blood if im not wrong.

and when i was in my childhood i always bug momo to buy dinosaur soft toy for me. i have a HUGE dinosaur soft toy and a dinosaur keychain at home now. hehe, maybe my 20th birthday cake shall be a dinosaur one too :D

i have forever-not-enough-clothes. i need to shop. i dont wanna wear sloppy clothes to school when i have many nice clothes in my wardrobe, but due to the early morning lectures and the effing hot weather i just wear whatever i see in front of me.

attachment in another 1.5 weeks and i can enjoy the air-con but not the ward sister. and i hate my current lab skill lecturer, she's a pain in the ass.

my blog is kind of dead now i know. i cant be bothered with it nowadays because i'm so busy and tired after attachment almost everyday. all i want to do when i reach home is to bath and go take a nap. i rather not have any food then rest.

anyway, yesterday, which means on the 6th march 2010, marks our 1 year anniversary.

we had some sort of picnic in a "park" or a reservoir i'm-not-too-sure in the evening. bought lots of food there and we only ate 1/4 of it because we're both full. no pictures for such an important occasion, blame me for not charging my battery. left the place after 1.5hrs because we were feeding mosquitoes. back to my place and we were both playing with my Iphone game. Simple yet happy, i enjoy it :D

There was once a man who didn’t believe in love. This was an ordinary man just like you and me, but what made this man special was his way of thinking: He thought love doesn’t exist. Of course, he had a lot of experience trying to find love, and he observed the people around him. Much of his life had been spent searching for love, only to find that love didn’t exist.

Wherever this man went, he would tell people of his thoughts and opinions on love. This man was highly intelligent, and he was very convincing. What he said was the love is just like a drug; it makes you very high, but it creates a strong need. You can become highly addicted to love, but what happens when you don’t receive your daily doses of love? Just like a drug, you need your everyday doses.

He used to say that most relationships between lovers are just like a relationship between a drug addict and the one who provides the drugs. The one who has the biggest need is like the drug addict; the one who has a little need is like the provider. The one who has the little need is the one who controls the whole relationship. You can see this dynamic so clearly because usually in every relationship there is one who loves the most and the other who doesn’t love as much. You can see the way they manipulate each other, their actions and reactions, and they are just like the provider and the drug addict.

The drug addict, the one who has the biggest need, lives in constant fear that perhaps he will not be able to get the next dosage of love, or the drug. The drug addict thinks, “What am I going to do if she leaves me?” That fear makes the drug addict very possessive. “That’s mine!” The addict becomes jealous and demanding, because the fear of not having the next dosage. The provider can control and manipulate the one who needs the drug by giving more doses, fewer doses, or no doses at all. The one who has the biggest need completely surrenders and will whatever he can to avoid being abandoned.

The man went on explain to everyone why love doesn’t exist, and how what humans call ‘love’ is nothing but a fear relationship based on control. So many promises are made to each other: to live together forever, to love and respect each other, through the good times and the bad times but after marriage, you can see that none of these promises are kept.

What you find is a war of control to see who will manipulate whom. Who will be the provider? And who will have the addiction. You find that a few months later, the respect that they swear to have for each other is gone. You can see the resentment, the emotional poison, how they hurt each other, little by little, and it grows and grows, until they don’t know when the love stops. They stay together because they are afraid to be alone, afraid of the opinions and judgments of others, and also afraid of their judgments and opinions. But where is the love?

The man went on and on about all the reasons why he believed love doesn’t exist.

The one day this man was walking in a park, and there on a bench was a beautiful lady who was crying. When he saw her crying, felt curiosity. Sitting beside her, he asked if he could help her. He asked why she was crying. You can imagine his surprise when she told him she was crying because love doesn’t exist. “This is amazing—a woman who believes that love doesn’t exist!” Of course he wanted to know more about her.

He asked her why she felt that love doesn’t exist and she told him about her marriage and how she and her husband had both lost respect for each other. She told him about how they hurt each other, and at a certain point she discovered that she didn’t love him and that he didn’t love her either. ‘But the children need a father, and that was my excuse to stay and to do whatever I could to support him. Now the children are grown up and they have left. I no longer have any excuse to stay with him….There is no sense to look around for something that doesn’t exist. That is why I am crying.’

Understand her very well, he embraced her and said, you are right; love doesn’t exist. We look for love, we open our heart and we become vulnerable, just to find selfishness. That hurts us even if we don’t think we will be hurt. It doesn’t matter how many relationships we have; the same thing happens again and again. Why even search for love any longer?”

They were so much alike, and they became the best friends ever. It was a wonderful relationship. They respected each other, and they never put each other down. With every step they took together, they were happy. There was no envy or jealousy, there was no control, and there was no possessiveness. The relationship kept growing and growing. They loved to be together, because when they were together, they had a lot of fun. When they were not together, they missed each other.

One day when the man was out of town, he had the weirdest idea. He was thinking, ‘Hmm, maybe what I feel for her is love. But this is so different from what I have ever felt before. It’s not what the poets say it is, it’s not what religion says it is, because I am not responsible for her. I don’t take anything from her; I don’t have the need for her to take care of me; I don’t need to blame her for my difficulties or to take my dramas to her. We have the best time together; we enjoy each other. I respect the way she thinks, the way she feels. She doesn’t embarrass me; she doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t feel jealous when she’s with other people; I don’t feel envy when she is successful. Perhaps love does exist, but it’s not what everyone thinks love is.’

He could hardly wait to go back home and talk to her, to let her know about his weird idea. As soon as he started talking, she knew exactly what he was talking about. She felt the same way. They decided to become lovers and to live together, and it was amazing that things didn’t change. They still respected each other, they were still supportive of each other, and the love grew more and more.

The man’s heart was so full with all the love he felt that one night a great miracle happened. He was looking at the stars and he found the most beautiful one, and his love was so big that the star started coming down from the sky and soon that star was in his hands. Then a second miracle happened, and his soul merged with that star. He was intensely happy, and he could hardly wait to go to the woman and put that start in her hands to prove his love for her. As soon as he put the star in her hands, she felt a moment of doubt. This love was overwhelming, and in that moment, the star fell from her hands and broke in a million of little pieces.

Now there is an old man walking around the world swearing that love doesn’t exist. And there is a beautiful old woman at home waiting for a man, shedding a tear for a paradise that once she had in her hands, but for one moment of doubt, she let it go. This is the story about the man who didn’t believe in love.

Who made the mistake? Do you want to guess what went wrong? The mistake was on the man’s part in thinking he could give the woman his happiness. The star was his happiness, and his mistake was to put his happiness in her hands. Happiness never comes from outside of us. He was happy because of the love coming out of him; she was happy because of the love coming out of her. But as soon as he made her responsible for his happiness, she broke the star because she could not be responsible for his happiness.

No matter how much the woman loved him, she could never make him happy because she could never know what he had in his mind. She could never know what his expectations were, because she could not know his dreams.

If you take your happiness, and put it in someone’s hands, sooner or later, she is going to break it. If you give your happiness to someone else, she can always take it away. Then if happiness can only come from inside of you and is the result of your love, you are responsible for your own happiness. We can never make anyone responsible for our own happiness, but when we go to the church to get married, the first thing we do is exchange rings. We put our star in each other’s hands, expecting that she is going to make you happy, and you are going to make her happy. It doesn’t matter how much you love someone, you are never going to be what that person wants you to be.

That is the mistake most of us make right from the beginning. We base our happiness on our partner and it doesn’t work that way. We make all those promises that we cannot keep, and we set ourselves up to fail.

Oh my freaking god i swear her house is scary. She has 3 dogs, 1 husky and 2 golden retriever! all full grown! can u imagine. one huge dog is enough, but now got 3. and worst part is husky quite fierce, but her husky is super cute! it's in white, so feminine and so gentle.

we had red wine in her house while watching TV, and her dogs were active at first but gradually didn't bother about us anymore. the white husky is so gentle and wouldn't just come up to you and jump jump jump. she just linger around your leg, waiting for you to sayang her. Hepatitis B

ouch, my deltoid hurts :( just had my Hepatitis B 2nd dose and my right hand feel so numb now. and i was so scared of the needle that i gave a face that made the nurse laugh at me. embarrassed myself.

Jeanette came to fetch me at my place last night, so impromptu. but somehow i just needed a shoulder to lean on for the time-being and true enough, i felt much much better than yesterday. we headed to Jalan Kayu for coffee. hehe, and i really keep talking non-stop.

didn't have good food for the past few days and i finally had MOS BURGER for lunch yesterday.

Romance-comedy. 3.5 stars for it.

i can see that this semester isn't so great. piles and piles of work coming up, exams after exams :(

School life is prolly in a mess for the time being. Can't wait for Chinese new year and i'm counting down to it. Attachment would be right after semestral exam and for 3 weeks and i'm kind of ok with it cuz i have nothing to do anyway, and hopefully prawning with the 2 girls and beer session soon. And recuperation period over! Spicy food and ice-cream here i ccccooooommmmmmeeeeeee!!!
